Choosing a Plan

In order to sign up for Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage, you must first pick a plan. There are dozens available in Missouri, all of which have different costs and coverage options.

There are three steps people CLAIM recommends you take to help you choose the Medicare drug plan that is right for you.

First, collect information about your current prescription drug coverage and needs. Include information about any prescription drug coverage you currently have as well as a list of the prescription drugs you currently take, the dosages and how often you take them.

Next, compare Medicare drug plans. Check for plans that cover the prescriptions you take and that use the pharmacies you prefer. For a list of drug plans available in your area, you can:
